NHS Manchester Talking Therapies (The Big Life group) online taster referral form

We provide support to people aged 18 or above who are registered with a Manchester GP.

We provide support for common mental health conditions, such as anxiety or depression, including: counselling, cognitive behavioural therapy, mindfulness, or guided online therapy.

Completion of this referral form will allow you to instantly access a recording of a taster workshop that you can revisit as many times as needed. Our workshops are based on low intensity CBT techniques designed to support with symptoms of mild to moderate anxiety and depression, with the aim to enable you to learn simple tools and techniques for managing you own wellbeing.

As this is an unsupported service, it will require self-motivation to implement the techniques discussed.

An individual sign up is required for each person viewing the taster workshop, and you must provide us with a valid email address for us to share this with you.

If after viewing the workshop you feel you require further support, please complete the self-referral form located here:

https://www.iaptportal.co.uk/manshs.html

Please note: this service is not a crisis service and will not be suitable for you if you are at immediate or imminent risk to yourself or others.
