Talking Therapies is for people over the age of 16 years who are registered with a GP in the Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale areas.We can help people with low level concerns about their mental wellbeing and common mental health conditions such as anxiety or depression.Please note, we require consent from the client to process the referral, if the client has not given you permission to submit this referral, do not submit the referral.People who need clinical support with their mental health will be able to see our trained professionals, who give support through a range of psychological treatments, including counselling, cognitive behavioural therapy, guided online therapy, and clinical psychology assessment.Talking Therapies also offers support for people who may not need clinical care, but who could benefit from improving their mental wellbeing. We do this by looking at the wider social issues that impact on a person’s mental wellbeing, such as money worries, relationship issues, substance misuse and social isolation.Talking Therapies is a NON-URGENT psychological therapies service for mild to moderate common mental health difficultiesTalking Therapies is delivered by the Big Life group in partnership with Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust and the Gaddum Centre
